I loved David. When I saw him at the barn, he always smiled and asked how Bill and I were.
He was interesting and fun to talk to He was truly a great guy, and will be missed by many.

  5. Mary,
We just learned of David’s passing and want to express our heartfelt sorrow for your loss. Our sympathy also goes out to Ralph (Sonny) and Gail and all of the Koechert family. I knew David, Ralph and Barbara when we were all youngsters and my brothers and sister would spend over-nighters during the summer at the Koechert house having fun running through the woods and cornfields, fishing and getting wet in the nearby Naamans Creek and just having fun as kids. David was a character and always made us laugh with his sense of humor and his antics. I know he never changed and that you all will miss him. Please know that Marianne and I will keep you all in our prayers and know that God will surely comfort you during this most difficult time.

  7. We loved David from our very first meeting – always enjoyed being in the company of you both – happy times and always happy memories to keep. We think you married a great man, modest, capable , creative, humorous and of course a great friend to animals and people. We will miss him greatly and hope you will come visit us often as I’m sure he would want you to. Prayers and peace to you, always.
