Dale Ross Kettlewood, Jr. age 68, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2018 at his home in Wilmington, DE.

Ross was born on August 24, 1949 in Chester, PA to Addie (Nichols) and Dale Kettlewood Sr. He was a 1967 graduate of Chichester High School, and later worked as a security guard until his retirement in 2008. Ross cherished time with his daughter, wife, and two grandchildren, as well as fishing and hunting with his brother-in-law and nephews.

Ross is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lou(Trotta); siblings, Rose Neil(Sepcie) and Bruce Kettlewood; grandchildren, Taylor and Brittany Kettlewood; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Lynn Kettlewood, who passed away in 2016.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at 11:00am at Brandywine Valley Funeral Care, Beeson Chapel, 412 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809, where friends may visit with the family from 10am to 11am.  Burial will be private.

  1. I will miss your stories with Mike reminiscing about his younger days, rides in your jeep as you gave a thumbs down to all the slower cars on the road , but most of all the many laughs and smiles you provided us. You will truly be missed Uncle Ross.
